Our Mission

Doctor of Podiatric Medicine (DPM) We understand the stress involved with a foot or ankle problem. It is natural to be apprehensive about what is happening or wondering if you will ever be better. Our compassionate staff is here to help you through the healing process. Besides the obvious concern about the treatment and long term outcome, other factors such as work, driving or caring for loved ones can take a toll. Alleviating that stress starts with understanding your problem as well as the appropriate treatment options. Our goal is to have our patients feel comfortable with the chosen treatment plan and leave our office with a complete understanding of their problem.

Our office is equipped with on site x-rays, allowing for immediate imaging of the bones in the foot and ankle. Other services include arterial testing with a state of the art doppler ultrasound measuring arterial blood flow in the entire leg.

We pride ourselves on our ability to provide immediate pain relief for most conditions at the first visit. Treatment begins with safe, easy and the least painful modalities that have a proven track record.

If conservative measures become exhausted, the next step for foot and ankle problems is often surgery. Simple surgeries are performed in the office. This would include skin biopsies to rule out cancer and procedures to resolve ingrowing nails (including permanent correction). Most surgeries are performed as an outpatient at the nearby San Leandro Surgery center. More extensive surgery may require surgery in the hospital as an inpatient.
